One of the challenges of mixing old and new pieces

One of the challenges of mixing old and new pieces is figuring out how to make the mix of periods and styles work together in a cohesive way. While mixing wood finishes and metals is an art in itself, sometimes the easiest way to integrate disparate elements is to unite them using the same color palette.

This was a mini Showhouse we designed at the Fairf

This was a mini Showhouse we designed at the Fairfield Antiques Center. We had to use their antiques to create a room. This room is a combination of items we loved from the shop such as a 1960’s Italian light fixture, Saarinen Tulip chairs, and African art. There's even a Lady Gaga book hidden somewhere in the space and of course, a fabulous photo of Brigette Bardot by Terry ONeill.

The first time we traveled to Telluride I thought I was in the middle of a movie set. Known for its celebrated western authenticity it is a magical place.

As a designer we are so fortunate to design interiors in incredible locations. From start to finish it’s about a turn key experience. You should walk in, unpack your suitcase and ski.

🏔️Telluride has the tallest free-falling waterfall in Colorado.

🏔️Telluride’s Gondola is the only public transportation system of its kind in North America.

We hope you will have a chance to experience this magical place too.

Adventurers and the eco-conscious are drawn to this glamorous, old-world mode of exploration for the impeccable slow-travel vibes, but there’s also something to be said about the perspective found onboard a train; you’re experiencing the landscape and scenery in a way that you can’t experience in any other mode of travel. A train trip often brings you where everyday roads cannot.
